Typically, most dry-erase markers will wipe right off our Whiteboard with ease. Periodically it's nice to clean the board with a cleaner. Below are a few cleaning options we recommend:
- Wool Erasers are ideal for quick erasure
- Wipe with a damp non-abrasive cloth.
- EXPO Whiteboard Cleaner is a great option, use a soft cloth or paper towel.
- Rubbing Alcohol
- Windex
Accidentally use a permanent marker?
Don't fret, just use a fresh Dry-Erase marker and completely cover the "permanent" marks. When the dry-erase marker dries you should be able to wipe the errant marks!
What shouldn’t I clean my Whiteboard with?
Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads or cloths
That includes Magic Erasers - which are abrasive and will permanently damage your Nack Whiteboard.
Do Not Use Any of:
- Magic Erasers
- Toothpaste
- Comet
- Baking Soda based-cleaners
- Wax-based products
- Avoid wiping with your hand as the oils transfer and can cause damage over time.
